What’s heat treatment?

It means to get required mechanical and physical properties as materials are changed to properties that we want by adjusting heat and
cooling condition and controlling their fine structures.
The same materials can be widely applied by adjusting heat treatment condition and changing characteristics of the materials.
Application of heat treatment can be changed to be suitable for properties required according to use including commercial machines, structures,
plastic working, and shapes.

Classification According to Temperature

High Tempering (500 to 600)
Gets troostite or sorbite
Purpose
Process to grant toughness to product
Applied products
PUNCH, PIN, T/R, M/S, C/L, T/S

Lower Tempering (150 to 250)
Gets Martensite
Purpose
Process to improve wear resistance
including removal of internal stress
and prevention of dimensional change and grinding crack.
Applied products
M/S general, C/L general, T/S general

  • Annealing

Salt bath

- Salt bath heat treatment means to heat salt bath or
   use it as coolants.

- Is being widely used in all kinds of mold and tool heat treatment
   including tool steel, precision instrument parts, and high-speed steel.

Vacuum furnace

- The vacuum heat treatment technology means that traditional heat
   treatment work is done in a vacuum. It improves structure and
   properties of the surface not changing internal properties of materials
   including vacuum hardening, vacuum tempering, vacuum annealing,
   vacuum sintering, and vacuum brazing.
